Martin J. Pring entered the financial markets in 1969 and has grown to become a leader
in the global investment community. He founded Pring Research in 1981 and began providing research for financial institutions and individual investors around the world. Since 1984, he has published the " Intermarket Review" a monthly market letter offering a long-term synopsis of the world's major financial markets.
 
Demanded as a speaker worldwide, he is the author of several outstanding books including,
the classic Technical Analysis Explained, now in its fourth edition. Since this unique book
first appeared in 1979, Technical Analysis Explained has established itself as the number
one guide of its kind. It is used by international technical societies and many universities for
training and is one of the three main books for Level 1 CMT certification for the
Market Technicians Association.. Translated into over 8 languages,
 
Recognized by his peers as a technical leader and innovator he was awarded the A.J Frost Memorial Award by the Canadian Technical Analysts Society in 2000 and in 2004 was honored with the
Market Technician's Association (MTA) Annual Award. In 2007 he received the
Trader's Library Hall of Fame award. He is also an honorary member of the Swiss
Technical Society. Described by Barron's as a "technician's technician",

Jerry has been a resident of South Florida since 1973 and has been trading his own account since 1987 primarily trading and investing with Forex currencies, stocks, and equity options for his own accounts. He finds that running a networking group for traders is extremely rewarding as he continues to learn from the experts in the industry and the traders in his group.
